At Building Blocks 2 Success our mission is to get ethnically and gender diverse underrepresented youth from the Portland Metropolitan area excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through exposure and participation in STEM-related programs and activities.

BB2S aims to inspire youth interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It focuses on serving all youth but specifically those identified as underserved, underrepresented, and from lower economic status.

BB2S is affiliated with Oregon Robotics Tournament & Outreach Program (ORTOP). The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge and the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Explorer are national programs organized by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology).
